Sea kayaking in Cornwall - part one

It was a fantastic idea to book the advanced Scilly expedition with Jeff and Simon from Sea Kayaking Cornwall. A trip to the UK always justifies some great hours in amazing London.

We took the night train to Penzance and went to the Isles of Scilly by ferry. During the short amount of time I was not calling for Hugh, I noticed a picture of wildlife I was keen on seeing.

At the campsite we met our group and had a 'warm up' paddle to St. Agnes

As paddlers need to refuel their electrolytes, we headed (no pun intended) to the only pub on the isle.

There was a nice play spot between St. Agnes and Gugh: waves from the north and the south breaking on a sandy flat.
